To deepen China-Africa cooperation, advance the application and innovation of aerospace information technology across the African continent, and support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals, the Sino-Africa Joint Research Center (SAJOREC) and Kenya's Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) will jointly host the International Conference on China-Africa Aerospace Information Technology Cooperation andApplication in Nairobi, Kenya, from August 10 to 16, 2026
This conference will focus on the theme of "Empowering China-Africa Sustainable Development with Aerospace Information Technology," inviting academicians, experts, leading researchers, and frontline scholars from relevant fields to engage in in-depth exchanges and sharing. The conference aims to establish a high-level exchange platform, gather wisdom, and build consensus, with a focus on discussing the latest innovations, trends, and focal points in the field of aerospace information technology, as well as the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted. It seeks to explore the potential of aerospace information, serve national strategies, deepen China-Africa cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, and support the high-quality development of the digital economy.

Meeting registration fee
①Field investigation Route 1: Investigation of the interaction between ecosystem vulnerability and resilience in savanna. Cost: $800 per person (including car rental, driver-guide, and two nights' accommodation in twin-sharing room);
②Field investigation Route 2: Investigation of current status and sustainable development pathways for water resource management in Rift Valley lakes. Cost: $500 per person (including car rental, driver-guide, and one-night accommodation in twin-sharing room);
③Field investigation Route 3: Nairobi urban development. Cost: $150 per person (including car rental, driver-guide).
