On June 26-27, the third Climate, Ecosystems and Livelihoods for Africa Conference, organized by the United Nations Environment Programme's International Ecosystem Management Partnership (UNEP-IEMP), was successfully held in Nairobi, Kenya. The conference focused on food security and food system resilience in Africa.
Prof. Yan Xue, Executive Director of SAJOREC, CAS, was invited to participate in this conference and delivered a speech titled Adopting acclimatized agriculture technology, reducing post-harvest losses and enriching food varieties for smallholder farmers. He shared SAJOREC's experience in modern agricultural cooperation and demonstration, proposed to pay more attention to small farmers, adopt appropriate agricultural technologies, reduce post-harvest losses, and enrich dietary structure, and discussed relevant issues with attending experts.
